Yes. Our crochet pieces are handmade with care, with attention to detail, texture and finishing. Because each piece is handmade, slight variations may occur—and that is part of what makes every HOCD piece unique.
We make every effort to represent colours, proportions and details accurately. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, and handmade pieces may have small natural variations.
Some designs may return in another colour or in a future small batch. If you love a sold-out piece, contact us to ask whether it can be recreated as a custom order.
Sometimes. HOCD pieces are produced in small quantities, and some colours or designs may only be available for a limited time.
Yes. We welcome custom requests for selected HOCD products.
You may request a different colour, size or other available design details. You can also upload an inspiration image when submitting your request.

We will review your request and confirm what is possible before your order is finalized.
Yes. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your custom order and begin production. Once work has started, the deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due before the completed item is shipped or collected.
Inspiration images can help us understand the look, colour or style you have in mind. However, HOCD will create a piece in our own style rather than reproduce another designer’s work exactly.
HOCD currently offers shipping within Canada, with additional shipping options available for eligible destinations.

FREE GTA Shippimg over $250
Shipping costs depend on the type of product and destination. Free shipping is available on orders over $250 within the GTA. Other shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your location and order.
Ready-to-ship items are typically dispatched within 3–5 business days. Made-to-order and custom pieces require additional production time, which will be confirmed before your order is finalized. Delivery time after dispatch depends on your location and the shipping service selected.
Where tracked shipping is included with your selected delivery service, tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
HOCD is primarily an online store and does not currently operate a physical retail location. If a local pickup option is available for your order, it will be communicated to you directly.

Custom orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of confirmation. After that time, or once work has begun, the order cannot be cancelled and the deposit remains non-refundable. For ready-made orders, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to request a cancellation.
Crochet pieces should be handled gently to help maintain their shape and appearance.
Specific care instructions may vary depending on the yarn, embellishments, hardware and construction of your item. Follow any care instructions included with your purchase.
We recommend checking the care instructions for your particular item before washing it. Pieces containing structured inserts, hardware, beads, handles or embellishments may require spot cleaning or gentle hand cleaning instead of machine washing.
We do not recommend machine washing.
Store your bag in a clean, dry place and avoid placing heavy objects on top of it. Stuffing the bag lightly with tissue or another soft material can help it maintain its shape while stored.
